Instructions for getting "snoscan" search software for UNIX machines:

Right click here, to download a compressed, tape archive of the snoscan package
(when a pop-up menu appears, select "Save target as" (IE-Explorer) or "Save Link as" (Netscape); click OK when the dialog box pops up to ask for a name for the file download).

Alternatively, you can

  1. ftp to "ftp.genetics.wustl.edu"
  2. type "cd pub/eddy/software"
  3. type "bin"
  4. type "get snoscan.tar.Z"
  5. type "quit" to exit ftp
